I design and build accessible digital tools that solve real-world problems

I'm a Service and User Experience Designer who works collaboratively to create lightweight, accessible websites and apps that make everyday tasks easier. I work exclusively with organisations creating positive social and environmental impact — turning ideas into practical tools that save time, improve efficiency, and serve people's needs.

Discuss your project

My approach

Every project starts with understanding the challenge. I move quickly from idea to working prototype, so you can see progress early and shape the result. I believe useful software doesn't have to be complicated.

Accessibility as standard

I ensure everything meets WCAG AA standards as a minimum, but I go further to genuinely test with assistive technologies and ensure real usability for everyone.

Sustainable by design

I write lightweight, efficient code that uses minimal energy. Lower bandwidth means faster loading, reduced costs, and a smaller carbon footprint. I host on renewable energy-powered servers.

User-centred process

I involve real users throughout — from initial research through to testing prototypes and the final product. This ensures what I build genuinely serves people's needs.

Collaborative working

I design and deliver engaging workshops that bring stakeholders together. I work with compassion, curiosity and professionalism, and bring in specialist partners when needed.

Typical project process

Timeline: Most apps start with a simple prototype in 2 to 3 weeks, with full builds taking 1 to 2 months depending on complexity.

  1. Explore your challenge

I talk through what you're trying to achieve, who it's for, and what success looks like.

  2. Research and discover

I conduct research to understand user needs and constraints, informing the design direction.

  3. Prototype the concept

I create a simple working version to test with real users and validate the approach.

  4. Build and iterate

I develop the full product, testing as I go and refining based on feedback.

  5. Launch and support

I help you roll it out, provide training if needed, and offer ongoing support.
